| Gdansk was one of the greats! His influence on the breed can't be summed up in a single paragraph. He not only sired many champions and national winners, his get have sired and produced many champions and national winners. He also had many beautiful daughters who like ours, were always treasured, but never shown. His record as a sire includes double National Champion Bint Miss Fire (who sold at auction for $500,000), Baja Dansk ( winner of $100,000 Arabian Racing Cup and track record holder), and Twin Fir Julio ( 14 time national winning family horse). In 1984 the Gdansk daughters sold at auctions brought an average of $133,000 each. We are very proud to have known him and to have had so many of his beautiful daughters. |

| A full brother to Gdansk, Canadian
National Park Champion Cognac is a noted sire of horses
with tremendous athletic ability. Cognac is the sire of
two National Champion Park horses, Miss Cognac (who sold
at auction for $600,000) and Cutty Water. He also had a
great disposition: "Years ago I used to care for Cognac at Lasma in Prospect, KY (1981-82). I couldn't think of a horse more deserving of a long life. Cognac was the sweetest, most gentle stallion I have ever handled. If your stallion is anything like his sire, you have a gem!" Carol Murabito April 7, 2001 Saw your web page, just had to write and say
that Cognac, age 31, is retired at my farm. |

ruined what had been a very promising show career. Until
then he had done very well at halter and showed great
promise as a western pleasure horse. In spite of his
lameness, he went on to become one of *Bask's best siring
sons. At one point he had the highest percentage of
national winners of any *Bask son. Among his many winners
